About the Classes
Every class at Fort Lauderdale Stars is devised to smoothly transition your child to the next appropriate level. Instruction is given on all gymnastic apparatus/trampolines/tumbl traks/etc. Class curriculums provide a well rounded approach to proper technique of all gymnastic skills taught. Our program follows the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program and instills the excellence in GYMNASTICS while having a super fun time. It doesn't matter what level or age your child is, we have classes for everyone! Below is our Recreational Program's Schedule. All classes are currently running; however, classes are always added so check with us for any new ones!
FAQ
How do I know which class to start my child in? Don't worry! Most children we are able to determine their class by age. But for special circumstances, we give a free skill test to determine their appropriate class & level. Between the ages of (2 1/2 - 3yrs old) and (4 1/2 - 5yrs old) it is sometimes difficult for a parent to choose the most appropriate class for their child. Please consult with our professional staff to appropriately place your child.
When Can I Start?
All of our classes run in sessions. Sessions primarily operate any where from 8,9 and 10 week sessions. You can register for classes at any time, even in the middle of a session provided classes are not full. Classes are prorated accordingly if you join in the middle of a session.
Can I come on any day?
No, you have to choose the day and time your child will attend class. There are many reasons for this! First, we have a student to teacher ratio. Second, Safety! Safety! Safety! If children just show up on any day of the week, we may have too many students in one class at a time. This of course would cause an unsafe atmosphere for class and your child's safety.
